It's kinda weird you'd take a picture when I'm not even a skater.
My friend and I spontaneously bought nine dollar cruisers from Target to skate around on in the city. I was trying to teach her and convince her that her fear of falling wasn’t all that bad and it was not going to happen if you learn to stabilise yourself. But then we just sort of gave up and I was skating down, and I noticed someone taking my photograph. I was completely unnatural about it. I wasn’t even going fast because I can’t even skate for shit, to be honest, and I was fixing my straggly hair.
It was weird. YOU COULD TELL I WAS NOT A SKATER. I HOPE THEY DIDNT TAKE THE PICTURE TO MAKE FUN OF ME. I WAS JUST HAVING FUN.
Wow, I spent an hour typing out my memories of this kid Angel who made US history entertaining with his antics to my friend who was eager to know who he was. I still reckon it was really nice of him to talk to me and make me feel like I fitted in, in his own annoying way. God, those memories were hilarious. Also, I liked how he went in deep and told me his frustrations about having to leave the school even though he seemed like the kid who didn’t care. I like feeling trusted. Hahaha.
